BMS College of Engineering started with the vision of Promoting the Prosperity of mankind by augmenting Human Resource Capital through Quality Technical Education & Training. BMSCE is the first private-sector initiative in engineering education in India. Over the past 74 years of its illustrious existence, the institution has produced more than 40,000 engineers/leaders who have flourished in the world through their immense contributions to mankind.

BMS College of Engineering is a private, autonomous university. It offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs, and admission is based on merit or entrance exams. Entrance exams include COMEDK UGET, NATA, KMAT, and PGCET. The scholarship is available.

The institution today offers 13 Undergraduate & 16 Postgraduate courses both in conventional and emerging areas. 14 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering Ph.D./M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering, and Management. The College has been effectively practicing outcome-based education. The hostel has multiple facilities, such as water heaters, a TV lounge, a volleyball court, etc. The college also has a sports complex, labs, cafeteria, gym, hospital, Wi-Fi campus, auditorium, music room, and dance room. Other facilities include an R and D center, BMS Campus Book Mart, bank with ATM service, ladies’ lounge, indoor stadium, and open-air theatre.

BMS College of Engineering offers 23 B.E./B. Tech courses, 1 MBA/PGDM course, 1 MCA course, and 14 M.E./M.Tech courses.

BMS College of Engineering offers B.Tech/B.E. degrees in various specializations, such as Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Science and Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering. It also offers a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
