Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology Being a premier and oldest engineering college in the state of Karnataka Dr. AIT is situated in garden city Bangalore. Aided by the Government of Karnataka, is affiliated to VTU Belagavi, Karnataka & approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The Institution offers 11 undergraduate programs, 10 post-graduate programs & having 15 research centers. Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology is located on Outer Ring Road, near Gnana Bharathi.

The college is recognized for its excellent academic achievements and granted TEQIP-1,2 &3 financial assistance under World Bank Scheme.
