Stonehill International School is a private, secular, coeducational day and boarding school for students aged from three to eighteen. English is the language of instruction used throughout the school. It is operated by the Stonehill Education Foundation and is a non-profit company registered in India. The Governing Council acts with the authority of the Directors of the Stonehill Education Foundation.
Stonehill is an accredited school offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. It is a member of the Association of International Schools in India, the East Asia Regional Council of Schools, and the Australian Boarding Schools’ Association. Located north of Bangalore on 34 acres, Stonehill has a two-story facility and provides bus transportation for students.
Stonehill International School has students from many different backgrounds. These include long-term residents of Bangalore, children of expatriates working in India, and children of Indians who have lived and worked abroad but returned to India. At any time, the school has students from over thirty nationalities.
