Good Hospital

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the hospital administration’s behavior towards me during my recent medical treatment. I was admitted to your hospital for kidney stone surgery and was given an estimate of 1.6 lakh rupees for the entire procedure as per doctor prescribed RRIS with Laser. However, to my surprise, the final bill came out to be 2.69 lakh rupees, which, in my opinion, amounts to cheating on part of the hospital administration. The estimate that I was provided before the surgery was significantly lower compared to the actual bill generated. This caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience as I was not prepared to pay such a large sum of money. I trusted the hospital administration to provide me with the correct estimate, and I find it unethical that the final bill amount differed so significantly from the estimate that was provided to me.
I would like to bring to your attention that such behavior on the part of the hospital administration is not only unacceptable but also unethical. Patients place their trust in hospitals and medical professionals, and such experiences can erode trust, leading to negative outcomes.
I request your immediate action regarding the same to avoid it from happening in the future. I hope the hospital administration will take the necessary steps to prevent this from happening to other patients and will be transparent about their cost estimations and billing practices.
This is not the end yet. After 15 days, the doctor prescribed another surgery to remove the stent. Therefore, I consulted with the concerned department to get an estimate for the surgery. The department estimated the cost to be 25k, but after negotiation, we settled on a final amount of 20k. At that time, I also had to undergo a urine test which cost Rs. 1650, and the doctor consultation charges were Rs. 800 as well.
Conclusion: It means u have plan to kidney stone removal surgery at NU Hospital then u will prepare for approximately 3.5 lakhs rupees for one day stone removal surgery and after 15 days stent removal surgery one day .

2.RRIS stone removal surgery with Laser -2.69 lakh
3.Stent removal and diagnosis -25k
Total -3.16 lakhs
