Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMP) new online system for property registration, e-khata, is causing frustration among property owners, TOI reported. The system, launched a month ago, is plagued with software issues leading to delays and difficulties in obtaining the digital property records.

Property owners have reported problems with the system, including discrepancies in names, address variations, and difficulties entering basic information. Many are unable to register new properties or obtain e-khatas due to incomplete records and system errors.

“BBMP revenue commissioner promised help desks at every assistant revenue officer’s office a week ago, but none has been set up. We’re constantly told to come back later to get our work done,”
