Mount Carmel College (MCC) is an autonomous college in Bangalore, India. Established in 1944, it aims to empower women through education and has been featured on ‘India Today since its conception. Every year, MCC ranks amongst the top twenty colleges in India.
Mount Carmel College offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in arts, science, and commerce. The college has been accredited with an A Grade (4th Cycle) by NAAC and is also a Star College Status by DBT, Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO). In 2008, India Today ranked MCC as one of the top three colleges in Karnataka for its ‘outstanding and exemplary contribution to education, skill development, and research.
The college hosts several student festivals, such as Cul Ah, a cultural fest with events like dance, drama, and music; Cross Currents, a national-level Commerce Fest; Carpediem, a national-level management fest; and Manan, a national-level Humanities fest.
