The Oxford College of Engineering is a college in Bangalore, India. It is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
The Oxford Educational Institution was founded in 1974 by Sri S Narasa Raju. The Oxford College of Engineering is located in J.P. Nagar, Bangalore, India, and is spread across 10.5 acres of campus along National Highway N.H. 7 in Bommanahalli, Bengaluru.
The institution offers four-year undergraduate courses in Architecture, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science And Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical And Electronics Engineering, Information Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, Automobile Engineering, and Mechatronics. It also provides three postgraduate courses such as Master of Computer Applications(MCA) and Digital Communication and Networking.
Milana is an annual intra-collegiate cultural festival held during even semesters. Impulse and Oxytech are techno-cultural festivals organized by the Departments of CSE and MCA, respectively. In 2015, the departments of MCA and ISE collaborated to host Oxytech 2K15.
The Department of CSE runs a club called TOGGLE. It is for introducing students to open-source technologies and is called the Oxford Group Of GNU Linux Enthusiasts.
