Aster hospital always attracts stream of patients because of its specialist who are the best of the best doctors , the nursing staff very friendly .
The hospital always looking clean and elegant .
The whole hospital looks like a well maintained star hotel .
It’s a good hospital and all its facilities. It’s Cleaned and maintained hygiene and provides good services.
The doctors are good and listen to the patients’ concerns 👍. But it is costly compare to another multi-specialist hospital.
My surgery is failed
My Father-in-Law underwent Brain Tumor Surgery under Dr. Ravi Gopal Verma.
The Entire Team of Doctors and their support staffs were very supportive throughout the treatment.
Staffs at ASTER CMI Hospital are really very helpful and proficient.
They treat you with respect and are actually caring and compassionate.
Co-ordination work by Girija and Margaret; Support work by Nurse Bhawani and Megha; and last but not the least Catering Service by Manjari and Maya have been excellent and highly commendable.
They have upheld their Motto “We’ll Treat You Well!!!”
The Doctors are highly experienced and very knowledgeable and they provide the best treatment available.
However there seems to be some “big gap” as far as the Administration Part of the Hospital is concerned.
The Billing Department is not at all in-sync with other Departments at ASTER CMI.
Even though we had an Insurance Coverage in place, it took us more than 12 hours and more than a dozen visits to complete the whole billing process.
Nonetheless the Hospital deserves a Rating of “5 Stars.”
Doctor and services are very good.Treatment is good but then is very very costly.
Sir, I am from Jabalpur (MP) and on reference for cardiac treatment, I visited Aster CMI hospital, Hebbal, Bangalore on 1st October and after consultation with Dr Bhatt, Cardiologist, I undergone an Angiogram for my heart problem. As per his advice and after consultation with cardiac surgeon Dr Ganeshakrishnan K.T.Iyer, CABG operation was performed on me to rectify my heart problem on 7th October 2021 and after review of 7 days I was discharged with proper advice for further rest at home. During my treatment period in Hospital I was taken proper care by Doctors and other para medical staff as expected. I faced no problem and in ICU after operation and thereafter in ward, daily I was atttended by Doctors who performed the operation and due and proper care were also taken by other staff without any persuasion. The hospital was clean and neat with daily change of bed sheet, bed cover etc. Doctors were ready to clear to any of my query and doubt on my problem. I felt verfy happy and satisdfied with my treatment nd after care given by the Doctors and staff of hospital. I rate the service given to me asexcellent. I recommend it being one of the best hospital for any treatment with CGHS/Ex-serviceman HS benefits, by anyone who wishes to undergo all types of specialised treatment.

This review is given by me in complete consciousness, without prejudice / bias or vested interest. I do not work for any hospital or any competitor of Aster CMI and hence this review can be considered as true and out of my personal experience. My thoughts about Aster CMI were completely misplaced when I planned to get admitted for an Emergency Bypass surgery for DVT at 9 pm a couple of days ago. The entire episode was so terribly handled by callous, immature ER medicos and the less said the better! Add salt to the injury, no doctor on duty bothered to even drop by to check on my medical problem in the Emergency ward. They did not even look into my Doppler reports nor checked at my condition though I was writhing in pain with a paralytic feeling! The Emergency Reception staff were rude to the core and think they are doing a favour. Wonder how such ruthless people get employed ! ? One more thing, there’s bias too, very visible..a sense of racism among own countrymen and based on colour of the skin! The Doctor ( A Vascular Surgeon) in question did not bother to even come on line to atleast suggest some pain management pills. He instead insisted that I wait until 2 pm next morning and visit through the standard OPD plan. Such is the service at Aster CMI. I made a mistake and I regret for going there! I am sure Dr Moopen is not aware of these activities. Heard of him as a kind medico and very humane. Sad his team comprises of black sheep..from support staff to medicos ! As for the rates, it seems a ventilator bed for 24 hours or part thereof costs Rs 80,000/- without frills !! I was charged Rs 5K for spending 2 hours there unattended. Though the fault was on their side, they issued a LAMA ( Left Against Medical Advise) to save themselves. And God save you if you are a Walk In or visit them directly! They wouldn’t even bother to look at you ..The Multi Speciality Hospital across the road is certainly far better! If there was an option for Zero Star or negative marking then Aster CMI Hospital deserves it ! I am not pouring my anger here but cautioning the general public NOT to go by their positive responses. It’s stage managed! Also, I can prove how callous their staff have been..
hospital is good with all its facilities. It’s Cleaned and maintained hygiene and provides good services.
The doctors are good and listen to the patients’ concerns .
But it is costly compare to another multi-specialist hospital
Lovely staff for housekeeping, best kept tidy clean hospital with utmost sensitive care towards patients.
I got my brother aged 74 who was shifted to Bangalore on emergency admitted in Aster for cardiac problem. (Breathing trouble). After various test he was taken to ICU from emergency ward. He was kept under observation for a day in ICU and angiogram was done on the next day. we were told that he has two blocks and angioplastry to be done if we agree. after deliberations among family members we gave our consent to go ahead with angioplastry. we were told it may cost 4 to 5 lakhs. Next day doctors tried angioplasty . We were told that Stunts could not be inserted due to risk factors( reasons given too much calcium accumulation and blood clotting and age of the patient). doctor told they have abandoned the process in the middle and successful done balooning so that blood flow is increased. But could not put stunts and would wait for a week or two and take decision whether to go for full angioplasty. He was shifted to twin sharing ward and we got him dischraged after two days. After removing all the appliances like oxygen ,urine pipe he was comfortable and hence we sked for discharge. But doctor told us that his creatine levels are high 3.6 hence to be there to get kidneys checked and if required dyolosis to be done . we told doctor we are not interested in taking any treatment for kidneys as my brother had history of kidney issue and his creatine levels are always normal (He get all tests done periodically every quarterly). We got hom discharged.
I would like to bring here the crucial points :
1. Whether calcium accumulation cannot be identified/estimated by doctors when they do angiogram and decide to go for angioplasty.
2. They have given in their discharged report attempted angioplasty.
3. We took second opinion and were told that when heart procedure is done and due to medication creatine levels goes up temporarily and get to normalcy after surgery. Now his creatine levels are normal.
4. Nephrologist, attending my brother, on the day of discharge wanted us to agree for CT scan to find out kidney status for which we did not agree and insisted for discharge and told her that we will get it done in our native place after three four days.
MY GREIVENCE IS
Hospital has charged 1.32 lak for doing angioplasty which was not actually done (as per doctors report also it was attempted) total bill came to 2.84 lac and we were forced to pay our hard earned money.
Why nephrologist or Doctor who performed angiogram/attempted angioplasty recommended for dialyses when there is no need for it. Only , when we did not agree for it, she recommended for discharge after doctors consent.
In my opinion Hospital is recommending or undertaking various unnecessary tests just charge more and reach targets set to each doctor and department.
when i questioned reason for charging full charges for angioplasty billing person told that there is no code in their software to charge for attempted angioplasty. Whether hospital can charge like that?. There should be some ethics to be followed by hospital admin and doctors before subjecting patients to various surgeries and tests. Just because patient is covered by INSURANCE, hospitals are doing unnecessary tests and surgeries and charging indiscriminately
More over there is no proper co ordination between hospital billing section/ward/doctors and Insurance people TPA.
we were forced to wait more than 14 hours to settle the bill (partially COVERED INSURANCE ). Ambulance was kept ready to take the patient back to his place HAD to wait from 8.00 pm to next day 1.30pm . note the patient was kept waiting without full fledged treatment from hospital because he was discharged as per hospital records and cannot indent any medicine or requirements like sanitary pads. we had to take care of patient. Off course the nursing staff was very co operative and helped us a lot. really hats off to them.
Overall, in my view, though hospital has good infrastructure ,nursing staff and even doctors, the internal process of giving targets for doctors to perform/recommend surgery for at least 2/3 cases out of 10 cases referred to them( I was told by some doctors and people who had this type of experiences) has created negative idea on ASTER Bangalore hospital. Administration please consider this and take steps to serve the people rather than earning more and more money which is not the moto of DOCTORS/HOSPITALS .
THIS IS MY SECOND EXPERIENCE REGARDING SETTLING INSURANCE BY HOSPITAL BEYOND 12 HOURS.
3 rd floor room no 332a name lalitha keeping very clean

Staff of Aster are rude & unprofessional. They’ll increase your pain for their gain, they make it evident that the hospital is Money Extracting one rather treating. Manager Ratnakar does not even bother to meet patient attendants if they’ve a concern. Front desk executive Sakir Ali, have inadequate knowledge and does not allow you to speak. Just one word, if you are not interested you can look out for another hospital is what these two guys inform.
So sad.
Hi, everyone. I would like to share my experience with the Dr. Nirmala.S, neurosurgeon. She is calm and handles the patients very carefully. My mother undergone carpal release surgery in her right hand. After meeting the Dr for the first time, my mother felt like she is under good hands and safe. After the surgery, the nurse Bhavani did the dressing on alternate days for 15days with great smile, patience and guided very well how to take care. Overall I would like to rate 5 stars for both the Dr. Nirmala.S, neurosurgeon and the nurse Bhavani.
Very helpful staff. Good doctors. Overall everything was good
